Parvati Patil’s twin’s in Ravenclaw, and they’re identical. You’d think they’d be together, wouldn’t you?

Padma Patil (b. 1979/1980) was a witch of Indian heritage who was in the same year as the famous Harry Potter at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was the identical twin sister of Parvati Patil. Padma was sorted into Ravenclaw house and became a prefect in her fifth year.

@dadefensenet & @lightningeranet event: lightning era da girls

there were once two sisters
who were not afraid of the dark…
not afraid
because sometimes in the pitch of night
they’d lie on their backs
in the middle of the path
and look up until the stars came back
and when they did,
they’d reach their arms up to touch them
and did. ~jandy nelson

You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.

moodboard for @ruahticwrites: Padma Patil

Padma was sitting with her arms and legs crossed, one foot jiggling in time to the music. Every now and then she threw a disgruntled look at Ron, who was completely ignoring her.”
